The Barbie Doll is getting the makeover we've all been wanting!
Mattel is paying tribute to Mexican culture with a limited-edition, “Día De Los Muertos” Barbie.
The toy maker is dressing the Barbie in traditional day of the dead attire including a full face of Catrina makeup and a crown made of Marigold Flowers and monarch butterflies.
The full name - Catrina Día de los Murtos Barbie - comes with a face painted to look like a traditional sugar skull and the dress is to die for! Check out the details on the doll:
For those who don't know, Día De Los Muertos is a celebration, a lively, colorful affair, with lots of delicious food with ofrendas (think Disney Pixar's Coco). The holiday is dedicated to departed ancestors, friends, and loved ones!
The amazingly stunning Día de los Muertos Barbie will be released on September 12 with a retail price of $75 and will be available at Walmart.
