Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston are joining a handful of celebrities associated with the alcohol industry. The two are the latest to move into the drinks industry with agave spirits.
The two teased the collaboration on their social media pages, leaving fans thinking a Breaking Bad reboot was on the way. Soon fans found out that they were indeed not bringing back the show, but were still the two collaborators we knew.
Cranston and Paul said: “We had the time of our lives while shootingBreaking Bad and truly built a very special bond. Knowing that we couldn’t share the screen for quite a while – our thoughts turned to a new project. We sipped cocktails and thought about what it should be.
Introducing..Dos Hombres:
“The younger one looked at his drink and said, you know what we should do? We should do a really special Mezcal. The older one said, you mean the liquor with a worm at the bottom? Nah, that was just some bullshit gimmick, I mean real, artesanal Mezcal made by hand in Mexico.”
The Mezcal is described as “a unique blend of the finest Espadin agave". hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca.
FYI, the mezcal has already been launched in California and New York with plans to expand across the US over the next few months before exporting world-wide.
The pricing: US $58 per 750ml bottle, Dos Hombres Espadin Mezcal is currently available on the Dos Hombres website.
Isn't this super cool? Who's gonna buy a bottle?
