In celebration of the launch of its Worldwide Favorite Menu in the United States, McDonald's restaurants will accept foreign currency as payment from customers hoping to try the tasty new menu items.
There is a catch to this promotion. The burger giant will only accept money from other countries for three hours (2:00pm-5:00pm) this Thursday and your euros, yen, pounds, etc are only good for four menu items.
Those menu items are from the Worldwide Favorites Menu: the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands, the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain, the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich from Canada and the Cheesy Bacon Fries from Australia.
According to our sister station, KFI, any amount of foreign currency can be given in exchange for one of the above listed menu items.
The Worldwide Favorites Menu hits McDonald's on Thursday - June 5 - and will remain available for a limited time.
