Cardi B took a moment after a record-breaking concert to give thanks to the Queen of Tejana! The "Please Me" singer performed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this weekend -- in style too -- to the biggest crowd the venue has ever seen.
In her adorable and sexy pink cowgirl attire, Cardi performed to a crowd of 75, 580 people, which is officially the venue's 'most-attended' show of all time. The previous record was held by country singer Garth Brooks (75, 577).
After a successful and record-breaking concert, Cardi B had a sweet moment backstage in front of a Selena Quintanilla portrait, where she mentions that Selena has inspired some of her most recent success.

"Hey guys, I just want to say that I'm honored for beating the Houston Rodeo show [record]. I was so nervous to perform in front of 75,000 plus people, but when I saw this picture, out of all the outfits that she wore, for me to see this picture with this outfit, this was the inspiration for "Please Me"I knew I was going to be all right." She then went on to sing along to Selena's iconic song, "Como La Flor."
Selena fans everywhere must be rejoicing, as Cardi B isn't the only artist to pay tribute to the Reina de la Cumbia at the Houston Rodeo. GRAMMY-Award winning country singer, Kacey Musgraves covered "Como La Flor" at the same venue a few days prior.
Maybe this will be a new trend? In the mean-time, here is Selena's music video to "Como La Flor" for your entertainment!
