Country artist Kacey Musgraves has won the hearts of many after the 2019 GRAMMMYs, and it seems she isn't stopping any time soon.
The "Rainbow" singer returned to her home state of Texas to perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo annual show on Monday. She not only surprised the fans there, but also surprised everyone on social media with a beautiful cover of the late Selena Quintanilla's hit "Como La Flor."
The 30-year-old country singer got a lot of support for her touching cover on social media, including from Selena's sister herself -- Suzette Quintanilla! See Suzette's Instagram shoutout to Kacey below:
Not only did Musgraves nab four GRAMMYS, including album of the year, she continues to charm her fans with her unique brand of the country genre.
Musgrave's homage to Selena included of course, some the Queen of Tejana's signature looks. Flaunting some surprising Spanish-speaking skills, Musgraves’ performance hit close to home; Selena’s iconic concert, during which she wore a sparkly purple jumpsuit and red lipstick, took place at the Astrodome exactly 24 years today.
The February 26, 1995 show marked Selena's third, and final, RodeoHouston appearance.
