If you're up early and have nothing to do, then visit Costco right after the store opens on a weekday morning - before 11 a.m. Not only will you experience fresh and hot samples, you’ll avoid the chaos that is often experienced on busy weekends.
Since many stores see an uptick in visitors during the lunch hour, your best bet is to go before lunchtime.

Between the hours of 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. is another one of the best times to visit Costco (during the week, of course). This two-hour window is after the lunch rush, but just before people start showing up after their workday.
Another big hint from many Costco managers is that is you visit the store within one hour before they close on a weeknight, then you will avoid the crowds.
