It's been over 20 years since the release of the movie Selena, which starred Jennifer Lopez! Since then, not much has been produced about the "Queen of Tejano".
Well, a new TNT Mexico series promises to provide audiences with a side of the story never previously told. Titled El Secreto de Selena (Selena's Secret), the series will debut on TNT at 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 23rd, and best of all, each episode will be an hour long!

The trailer alludes to the idea that there is more to the story and murder of the "Como La Flor" singer than meets the eye. The trailer shows scenes similar to those in the movie Selena, which is very exciting!
TNT tweeted the show's debut by adding "Everybody knows how the story ended. But only a few know what really happened.”
How do you guys like the teaser trailer for the new series? It's a very tense trailer, filled with mystery. Selena will be played by Mexican actress Maya Zapata and Yolanda Saldivar will be played by Mexican actress Damayanti Quintanar.
It has been more than 23 years since the legend Selena Quintanilla was killed outside of a Days Inn hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas by Yolanda Saldívar. Can you believe it's been more than 23 years since this tragedy?
