Colombian superstar, Maluma, made his MTV Video Music Awards debut at the 2018 ceremony, making it a big night for Latinos.
The 24-year-old artists performed his 2017 smash hit "Felices Los Cuatro" with an sultry and exciting routine, that had the audience on their feet and dancing along! At one point in the performance, Maluma stopped and dancing with Camila Cabello and her mom!
Aside from debuting his music to MTV VMA stage, Maluma had an inspirational interaction with Madonna backstage. She gave him major props!
“She blessed me and told me I was ready for the next level ... Love you Queen you're such an inspiration @madonna,” Maluma wrote on Instagram.

The MTV VMAs were a great night for Latinos! J Balvin took home two moon men at his first-ever VMAs, Cardi B took was awarded "Best New Artist", Camila Cabello took home the award for "Artist of the Year", and Jennifer Lopez received the Michael Jaclson Video Vanguard Award! A big congratulations to all those artists!
