'Jurassic Park' Ride Is Closing, Becoming 'Jurassic World'

Jurassic Park Closing

The thrill-ride Jurassic Park at Universal studios Hollywood is set to close September 3rd, 2018! The ride has been operating for 22-years and it is one of the park's longest running attractions.

For all my Jurassic Park fans, this isn't necessarily bad news. Yes, Jurassic Park: The Ride is closing, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to get your fix of dinosaurs. The good news is that an updated version of the ride is coming and will be called Jurassic World Ride

No specific details have been released on what changes are coming to the attraction (besides the name). Park officials have promised new dinosaurs that haven't been seen. There will also be enhanced storytelling and scenery!

So far, all we've seen from Universal Studios is is this Instagram post, showing that we are going from a wooden "Jurassic Park" gate to a metallic/concrete futuristic looking entrance gate. Exciting news, right?

Looks like a trip to Universal Studios is in order to experience the classic ride one last time before it's gone! Who is excited!?
