A no-kill shelter in Illinois is doing the most hear-warming act for our furry friends.
The Knox County Humane Society in Galesburg posted a video to Facebook on Monday showing two dogs lounging in cozy armchairs. That video caught the internet's attention and the armchair donations began.
The shelter wrote: “The shelter pets absolutely love their chairs! If anyone has any older chairs they no longer want, please think of the shelter pets!”
While I would love to adopt all the cats and dogs, I am delighted to know that animals are being cared for in such a been warm way.
They're getting the home environment that they deserve.
Other shelters across the nation have become inspired by this move, and are going to social media to spread awareness and acknowledge this act of kindness.
