Good news for all my fellow emoji users... you can now refer to Dictionary.com to explain what your favorite emojis mean.
TIME Magazine reported that linguistic experts at Dictionary.com researched emojis with the same tactics lexicographers use when defining a new word.
Now these words aren't actually defined, since they aren't actual words. The website claims emojis function like old-fashioned letter-blobs. So Dictionary.com provides notes and the context in ways those emojis can be used.
For example: How the 'goat' emoji can be used to represent GOAT, which can mean 'Greatest Of All Time". Get it?

Our future generations will really benefit from any resource that aims to educate on linguistics.
For the record, in case any of you are wondering, my favorite emoji is the black heart.
