Patty Rodriguez was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her career began as an intern at KIIS FM soon after graduating from Lynwood High School. Living her life through her personal motto - #sinmiedo - since 2015, Patty has been infusing culture on and off the air for over 11 years as Senior Producer of On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
Throughout her career she has received numerous awards and recognition for her work and advocacy for her community, including the LA Times Latinos De Hoy Cultural Influencer Award, Ford's Latina On the Move Award, Hispanic Public Relations Association Social Media Influencer of the Year, and Latina magazine’s Top 100 Women of The Year.
Patty and her work have been featured in NY Times, Forbes, NPR, USA Today, LA Times, People, Buzzfeed, Univision, Rolling Stone, CNN, Cosmopolitan, and People En Español, TV to name a few!
She is also creator and co-founder of Lil’ Libros, a bilingual children’s publishing company.
In 2013, she started a grass roots campaign to convince MAC Cosmetics to create a collection honoring the late Selena Quintanilla. That determination and passion from fans all over the world convinced MAC Cosmetics to release MAC x Selena on October 1st 2016.
