Ye's new neighbors think the rapper is "delusional" for wanting to build a fully functional city on his new property.

Several people who live within walking distance of Ye's new $35 million mansion in North Beverly Park told TMZ how they really feel about the rapper's plans to build "DROAM," a self-sustaining city he wants to construct in his backyard. Earlier this week, the artist formerly known as Kanye West revealed the tentative blueprint for his city, which he originally wanted to make in the Middle East, on his Instagram Stories. While he hasn't revealed any other plans, his neighbors don't seem excited about the idea.

The entire home sits on a nearly 7-acre lot and measures out to 20,000 square feet. There are 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms along with a pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, and other attractive amenities. Sources told the outlet that the home is massive, but it's not big enough to hold an entire city. They also said the gated community of North Beverly Park has a complicated homeowner's association that has to vote on major projects. In addition to the construction, neighbors are also concerned about the possibility of fan-related disturbances and potential thieves on his property and surrounding areas.

Ye has yet to move into his new home. He's currently enjoying his excursion in Japan with his wife Bianca Censori. It's not clear whether or not he's serious about building DROAM on his property, but it's clear he plans to make some alterations when he does settle into the home. Watch Ye explain what DROAM is below.
