The Weeknd's Decapitated Head Stars In Disturbing 'Too Late' Music Video

The Weeknd has released his creepiest music video yet.

On Thursday (October 22), the Canadian crooner’s latest single, “Too Late,” received a gory and gruesome visual interpretation in which the singer’s own decapitated head gets its own starring role.

The five-minute clip opens with two recovering plastic surgery patients driving down a residential street before coming to a shocking halt when they happen upon The Weeknd’s deserted head laying in the middle of the road. “It’s perfect,” one of the girls says of their discovery before bringing the head home for a menacing make-out session among other
disturbing activities, like beheading a stripper for their bloody, build-a-boy sexual escapades.

“Too Late,” which appears on The Weeknd’s number-one album After Hours, finds the singer attempting to lure his lover to the dark side. “It's way too late to save our souls, baby/ It's way too late, we're on our own/ I made mistakes, I did you wrong, baby/ It's way too late to save my—” he sings on the hopeless chorus while begging for her forgiveness.

This project is the latest in a series of music videos The Weeknd has unveiled from After Hours after dropping vids for “Heartless,” “Blinding Lights,” “In Your Eyes” and “Snowchild.” His previous single, “Save Your Tears,” came in August, which was then followed by last week’s Kenny G-assisted remix of “In Your Eyes.”
