After a relatively lackluster visit to Las Vegas, one vacationer decided to take one more shot at winning by playing a slot machine at the airport before leaving – and scored big time.
The unidentified visitor won a staggering $1.3 million from the Wheel of Fortune machine, located in Harry Reid International Airport’s Terminal One, airport officials have confirmed. “That’s one way to end a vacation — as a MILLIONAIRE,” the airport tweeted on Thursday.
The news marks the third big Vegas win in recent weeks. Earlier this month, one person hit three jackpots over a two-day period, scoring $1 million. In May, another visitor took home a whopping $2.5 million after winning a hand of poker at The Venetian, according to reports.
