- After more than a week of canceled flights, lost luggage, and very angry customers, Southwest Airlines is finally getting back on track.
- The airline says that 'normal operations with minimal disruptions' will resume on Friday, Dec. 30th.
- In a statement, the company said it was "encouraged by the progress we’ve made to realign crew, their schedules, and our fleet" and "eager to return to a state of normalcy".
- More than 13,000 Southwest flights have been canceled since Dec. 22nd - including another 2,300 on Thursday. The cancelations have enraged customers and drawn the attention of President Biden and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
- What does Southwest need to do to make this up to its customers? Did you experience any holiday travel issues?
