Starbucks has announced that they will be increasing their minimum wage from the current $12 per hour to $15 an hour by summer 2022.
According to Starbucks, "Our wage increase from Dec. 2020 to the Summer of 2022 will mean at least a 17% increase for partners, and at least 20% for tenured partners, in two years".
The increase comes after several companies have announced pay increases to retain employees and attract new hires.
