If you're using someone else's Netflix account, watch out!
Netflix is testing out a new feature that could bring an end to account sharing. Netflix is trying out alerts that asks users to verify they are the authorized to watch on the account to be able to keep watching. The new feature is getting a limited rollout for now.
Here's how it will work: When a user selects their profile on a shared Netflix account, a pop-up will ask the user to verify the account by confirming with a text or email. Users can choose to verify later, a pop-up will show up again at a later time. If the user can't confirm they're an authorized user, the user will be prompted to set up a new account.
