Hayley McLean-Glass wanted to give her three-year-old son Noah an early Christmas gift during their trip to Disneyland Paris.
Noah is a huge fan of Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen and when Hayley heard about "Princess for a Day", which gives young girls a fairy tale transformation, she wrote a letter to Disney asking if she can bring her son in for the experience.
The amusement park denied her request saying it was “not possible to book Princess for a Day for a boy.”
After posting about it on her Facebook and Instagram, Disneyland Paris has issued an apology
Disneyland Paris said they “sincerely apologized” to Noah and his mother in a statement to ITV News and that it was an “isolated incident.”
“An isolated incident, the cast member’s response is not reflective of any policy or belief held here at Disneyland Paris,” read the statement — Disneyland calls all of their employees "cast members."
It continued, “We are going to ensure this does not happen again."
