The auditions for the upcoming reboot of American Idol that were scheduled in Houston on Saturday, Saturday 2nd and in San Antonio on Monday, September 4th have been called off due to the devastation in southeast Texas caused by Hurricane Harvey.
Idol's official Twitter page tweeted a statement on Tuesday, August 29th.
