LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man was shot and wounded today in downtown Los Angeles, and a suspect was taken into custody, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 9:45 a.m. at Sixth and Spring streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The wounded man, in his 30s, was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
A suspect described only as a male was taken into custody, police said. His name was not immediately released.
The shooting occurred at the Hayward Hotel, according to reports from the scene.
