Lewis Capaldi Covers Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" at Jingle Ball

Z100's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2019 - Show

The year was 2002, and Vanessa Carlton gifted the world her smash hit ear-worm of a song "A Thousand Miles." Fast-forward nearly 18 years, and singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi has re-imagined the song in an even more gorgeous way, and performed the cover during the 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One.

Taking the stage at Madison Square Garden in a pink hoodie and his guitar, Capaldi performed songs like "Bruises," "Before You Go," and his tear-jerking hit "Someone You Loved."

But, Capaldi also performed a cover of Carlton's "A Thousand Miles," accompanied by a beautiful piano arrangement. Lewis also performed the song during a previous stop on the Jingle Ball Tour in Philadelphia just a few days before.
