Calvin Harris Just Convinced Us to Change Our Lives at KIIS Jingle Ball

Calvin Harris dropped by the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge at KIIS FM's 2018 Jingle Ball Presented By Capital One and oh so nonchalantly bragged about his height - 6'5 3/4. The 3/4 is very important, he says. Apparently, the air is "slightly better" up there! Sorry, Jojo!

Although there are many perks to being tall, one fail is that it doesn't come in handy when Calvin is out in his yard trying to garden.

"It's an underrated thing. Nature is all around us and I think people take it for granted."

He's recently had to make the switch from planting directly in his yard to using planter boxes because the leaning over hurts his back! However, his dedication to the hobby is unwavering.

"I like the balance that it gives me. In my work life, it's not always like this you know (referencing Jingle Ball), there's madness in the clubs."

That I can agree on. "Watching a watermelon take shape is a beautiful thing," he added.

When asked if the process of overseeing a plant grow is similar to watching the development of a song, Calvin said that it definitely takes a lot longer to work with mother nature.

"It will teach all of us patience. Which I think, in 2018, not a lot of us have. So I think getting back to that, getting back to where we came from is very important."

His favorite meal to create? Literally just a huge salad. This isn't your normal salad though, Calvin is tasting more than some leafy greens. He's tasting all of the love and time that he put into watching that food grow.

I think one of the world greatest DJ's just convinced me to start a garden. Wow.
