I came out of cheer retirement this week! I had the pleasure of being invited to West Covina High School and sit in on the cheerleading team's 6am practice. It was such an amazing experience to watch the girls do their thing and teach me some of their skills.
Everyone from the coaching staff to the cheerleaders made me feel so comfortable about being tossed up in the air again for the first time in 6 years! Not only are they extremely hardworking and dedicated to being the most elite athletes they can be, but you can tell that at the end of the day they are family.
