K-Pop Festival In LA Dubbed as Fyre Fest 2.0

KAMP LA went down in SoCal over the weekend and allegedly turned out to be a disaster. What was supposed to be the biggest K-Pop event in U.S history turned out to be a flop according to a lot of the attendees.

Days leading up to the event, the lineup was constantly changing. According to Stereogum, a lot of the acts dropped out due to visa issues. Artists like Monsta X,BamBam, Jeon Somi, Kai, Lapillus, Taeyeon and Zion.T had to drop out.

As a result of all the artist dropouts, guests were issued refunds and the Rose Bowl was half empty. According to Twitter users, the promised meet and greets turned out to be a scam. There were a number of issues including inorganization, multiple technical difficulties, and more.

Over the weekend the hashtags #KAMPfyre and #KAMPApologize were trending with attendees documenting their experience. The event throwers have yet to speak out about what happened over the weekend.
