National Museum Day is happening September 17 and museums across the country will be offering free tickets. Thanks to Smithsonian Magazine over 600 institutions and centers will be participating. California alone has nearly 100 museums partaking including the Grammy Museum and Flight Path Museum and Learning Center in Los Angeles.
