It looks like the beloved toy store isn't dead after all. Toys 'R' Us just made the announcement that they have partnered up with Macy's. Within the next few months there will be a Toys 'R' Us in every Macy's location in the United States.
Starting in July we will start to see the toy stores pop up in the retail stores. In some of Macy's flagship stores including the one in Los Angeles, the Toys 'R' Us will be as big as 10,000 square feet, according to CNN. So this means that there will be a location in every Macy's just in time for Christmas.
This partnership is expected to help both brands that have been struggling for years now. Toy 'R' Us closed down in 2018 after filing for bankruptcy, and Macy's has been hurting from the success of stores like Target and Walmart.
All I know is that Toys R Us is apart of every millennial's childhood and its good to see it making a comeback!
