The City Of Irvine's Inaugural Juneteenth Celebration Is Sunday

Sunday is not only Father's Day, but it is Juneteenth! The day marks a celebration of freedom, hope, and joy! BIPOC across the country will be gathering together to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans back in 1865. It’s Jubilee Day, it’s Emancipation Day, and it’s Black Independence Day.

I will be hosting The City of Irvine's first ever Juneteenth celebration this Sunday. It all goes down at the Great Park Palm Court from 11am- 3pm. There will be live music, food trucks, Art pop ups, performances, and a BIPOC marketplace. The event is free and is open to people of all ages. It is going to be a great day of celebrating our people and how far we have come to be free!
