Showing your ID just got a whole lot easier....well almost. According to the Los Angeles Times, California has decided to move forward with the plan to test digital driver's licenses. So instead of having to pull out a card, you can show your information directly from your phone!
California is following the lead of other states that have already hit the ground running with this like Louisiana, Colorado and Arizona.
I hope nationwide we get rid of physical cards and go strictly digital. It is more convenient, especially for someone like me who constantly loses things. A lot of people are worried about there being a breach of security and privacy, however.
What do you think? Would you be comfortable with your personal information being online, or would you stick to a physical ID?
