Did you know that you can request a crosswalk in Los Angeles. There is a whole group dedicated to creating crosswalks in areas that the city failed to do so. It's called "Crosswalk Collective." They have painted crosswalks all throughout Los Angeles in order to make streets less deadly for pedestrians and cyclists. They even have a "how to" guide on their website that gives instructions on how to paint a crosswalk where you live.
Recently two new crosswalks popped up in Koreatown. According to Streets Blog LA, good samaritans recently painted crosswalks at the intersection of San Marino Street and Serrano Avenue.
