Let's face it, there is nothing fun about the traveling aspect of a vacation. Whether you are traveling by plane, train or car, getting to your final destination never is as simple as it should be. Travel Pulse just came out with a list of the US airports with the shortest and longest TSA wait times, and few California airports made the list.
Ontario International Airport in Southern California actually has the second fastest screening time in the country. According to Travel Pulse, the average amount of time a traveler will be going through the security process is six minutes and 18 seconds. Do you realize how insanely fast that is? In airports in cities like Philadelphia and Washington DC, I felt like I was standing in the TSA lines for hours.
Sacramento International Airport also made the top 10. Believe it or not, they have an average wait time of eight minutes and 18 seconds. For such a large airport, that is incredible.
As for the airports with the longest wait times, San Francisco International Airport is the worst in California. It also ranks as the third worst in the country falling behind St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport, according to Best Life.
So it might be a good thing to keep this information in mind when planning out your next trip and deciding on where to fly out of.
