Can't say I'm surprised at this one. It has been reported that Kanye West has pulled out of headlining Coachella just weeks before the festival is set to kick off. According to NBC Los Angeles, West has neither confirmed or denied the news himself nor has an explanation been given.
The official headliners were supposed to be Ye, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish. However, months ago Kanye suggested that he would refuse to do Coachella after his mini beef with Eilish. Kanye had called on Eilish to apologized to Travis Scott after he took her words during a concert as shade towards the Astroworld Festival disaster.
Kanye has also been in the news a lot recently over his feud with ex wife, Kim Kardashian and her new boo Pete Davidson. At one point Ye was even banned from Instagram for harassment and bullying. He was even supposed to perform at the Grammys this past weekend, but was taken off the lineup due to his recent antics on social media.
So whether Kanye voluntarily remove himself off the lineup, or he was asked to by the festival itself, there will be no Kanye on April 17 and 24 in the desert.
