One of the most memorable experiences when visiting Disneyland, is being greeting at the entrance by your favorite Disney characters. Whether it is Mickey or Minnie Mouse, Goofy or Belle, a simple hug or wave from them can set the tone for guests' entire experience at the park. I think it is so cute seeing a little girl's dreams come true as she rushes to hug a character she has idolized since she could watch tv.
Like so many things, character greetings had went away due to the pandemic. According to NBC Los Angeles, even after Disneyland and California Adventure Park reopened, character greetings weren't brought back due to social distancing.
Now the wait is finally over! Starting April 18, you can finally hug, high five and greet your favorite characters at the happiest place in the world again.
