If you didn't know, March 30th is National Hot Chicken Day. So it's only right to celebrate with what I think is the best hot chicken in LA.
Have you ever tried Howlin Ray's? They serve Nashville style fried chicken with an array of sides in portions for an entire army. Now I have had a lot of fried chicken in my days. My grandma made the best fried chicken growing up and I thought no one could ever top it. For me to say a restaurant's chicken is better than my Grandma's home cooked chicken speaks volumes.
You can order any part of the chicken you want; wings thigh or breast. Then you chose how hot/spicy you can take your chicken. They have 6 levels of heat: country, mild, medium, medium plus and howlin'. Let's just say I will stay at the medium for a while.
