Let's play ball!! Finally!
After a lockout that put the whole baseball world on pause, the MLB has finally put out its revised 2022 schedule today. And to make up for all the lost time, 30 extra doubleheaders have been put in place, according to ESPN.
If you haven't been keeping up, 91 games had been postponed due to the lockout. For months players were locked out and all transactions were frozen. The reason for the strike was to be able to renegotiate the expired collective bargaining agreement between the players' union and the league that was put in place in 2016.
Now here we a little over 3 months later and the green light has been given, which means the Dodgers are back, baby! The season opener for the LA Dodgers has been set for April 8 against the Colorado Rockies.
