A manager at a Florida Dunkin' Donuts has been arrested for a scam where she hired a fake employee, then kept the paychecks for herself.
Investigators say back in May, 29-year-old Markia Nelson "hired" the imaginary worker, paying them $8.65 per hour and logging 235 total hours over a two-month stretch.
Nelson admitted the scam to police and said she needed the money for "life expenses". She faces charges of grand theft.
