Feel Good Friday: Stephen Curry Shares Sneakers Inspired by 9-Year-Old Girl

Happy Feel Good Friday and International Women's Day!

This weeks story comes from the Bay Area.

9-year-old Riley Morrison wrote Stephen Curry a letter asking why his Under Armour sneakers weren't offered in the girls' section of the company's website. Curry got a hold of the letter and decided to make a change.

Curry unveiled the "Curry 6 United We Win Colorway" in honor of International Women's Day.

"It's a really special experience. I've never imagined that this would happen, really happy I wrote that letter and I'm really happy he wrote back to me," Riley said.

Riley was even able to help design the shoe's sockliners with motivational messages like "Be Fearless" and "Rock the Currys."

The best part about this story is that proceeds from shoe sales will go to an annual scholarship for female students.
