Zayn Malik has revealed that he no longer speaks to his former bandmates as a result of "snide" comments they had made.
Speaking with British Vogue, Malik explained how "the relationships had broken apart" by the time he made the decision to go with a solo career.
Malik describes himself as a bit of a loner when it came to his relationship with his bandmates. "I have always been a bit like that, though—always a bit of an island," Malik admitted. "I don't like to confer with too many people."
As to why they still haven't spoke? Malik gave this insight. "I ain't spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you. That's just the way it is," he said. "There's things that happen and things that were said after I left... Snide things. Small things that I would never have expected."
Does this mean we will never get a One Direction reunion? Who knows, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
