Say hello to The San Diego Zoo Safari Park’s newest elephant, Umzula-zuli — “Zuli” for short. Zuli was born on Sunday Aug. 12, which just so happens to be World Elephant Day!
According to the zoo, Zuli also happens to be the biggest calf born at Safari Park weighing a whopping 270 pounds.
How cool is that? I mean what are the chances that.
The zoo originally rescued its four adult African elephants in 2003 from Swaziland, where they had faced being killed.
