Grace Moores is one of Katy Perry's biggest fans and has been since she was only 3 years old. Since being diagnosed with a brain tumor, she has been fighting for her health all year long.
Grace planned to attend the pop star's concert in Australia last week but had to miss the show to have brain surgery to remove the tumor. She was completely devasted that she was going to miss seeing her idol in concert.
Her older sister decided to do something about it.
16-year-old Tiana posted on Twitter asking users to tweet at Katy Perry to visit Grace. The above tweet was retweeted over 20,000 times before the pop star's team got in contact to schedule a visit.
Grace's family kept the visit secret from her and the little girl was shocked when her favorite singer showed up at her house.
Tiana, her older sister, explained that Katy came to the house to surprise Grace and was very sweet to her. She asked for a tour of the house from Grace and even performed three of Grace's favorite songs. Katy gave the family autographs, took pictures, and posted of photo of Grace in one of the new concert tees on her Instagram story.
