Netflix Cancels "13 Reasons Why" Premiere Event After Santa Fe Shooting

Netflix decided to cancel a red-carpet premiere party for the second season of its teen drama 13 Reasons Why after Friday's deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas.

The upcoming season includes a plotline where a student shows up at a school dance armed with guns, and is talked out of the shooting by a classmate.

The first season of 13 Reasons Why was criticized for its portrayal of a teen girl's suicide.

Despite Netflix cancelling the premiere party, both seasons of the show are still available to watch on Netflix.

My condolences go out to those that were effected by the terrible tragedy.
