It's official, California has the lowest quality of life in America.
U.S. News & World Report's most-recent Best States rankings say that California ranked last in urban air quality and 45th in "low pollution health risk."
This isn't a crazy surprise if you've ever hiked Runyon and seen the smog over L.A. I still love my city though!
At least we ranked 13th in drinking water quality!
These reports slam California for having cities with the world's most traffic-congested urban areas. Ehem... Can we step our game up!
States that beat us out were generally in the Northern parts of the U.S. Shout out to North Dakota for ranking 1st, we're coming for you!
In California we have some of the best beaches, Entertainment, and State parks. I think we can do better next year.
