Last week Producer Shelly spoke with a woman who wanted to help her neighbors. Living behind her is Kendra a 17 year old in her senior year of high school at Rancho Bernardo High, her 14 year old brother who is a freshman, and their father. The family lost their mother to leukemia a few years ago and the father was recently diagnosed with stage three brain cancer.
At the age of 17 Kendra has become the soul provider for her family, working two jobs to cover rent and car payments, while trying to finish her high school career.
