Back in September Selena Gomez revealed that she had undergone a kidney transplant, now she is opening up about the life-saving surgery in an Today Show interview.
Selena's friend Francia Raisa sat alongside the pop-star for the emotional interview.
“My kidneys were just done,” Gomez said.
“That was it. And I didn’t want to ask a single person in my life, and that was the day I came home when I found out. And she volunteered and did it.”
Gomez went on to explain that Raisa in fact did save her life.
You can watch the full interview Monday Oct. 30 and Tues. Oct. 31 on The Today Show.
