Two outstanding California college student-athletes have been named the September recipients of the CalHOPE Courage Award. The honorees include Cameron Brink, a member of the Stanford University women’s basketball team, and Garrett Jensen, a member of the San Francisco State University baseball team. The award program recognizes inspiring student-athletes at California colleges and universities who have demonstrated courage in the face of adversity. At the end of the year two of the student-athletes recognized will be selected as annual CalHOPE Courage Award winners, and a donation will be made in their names toward mental health services at their schools.The Cal HOPE Courage Award is presented by the @collsportscomm , in association with @APnews and CalHOPE, a crisis support resource for communities impacted by public health emergencies or national disasters, operated by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
