Disneyland Resort has released new plans for "magical new experiences" and Disney Parks Blog takes us behind the scenes to take a look at these new plans.
First things first will be the changes made to hotels at the property.
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel will undergo a whole new transformation incorporating a brand new theme! Renderings of the hotel show a new reimagining of "the artistry of Pixar".
"Guests will be welcomed into whimsical character moments, like the iconic, playful Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball in the lobby," officials from Disney Parks Blog wrote.
Beyond that, guests can expect more new benefits coming to the resort.
A walkway is currently under construction, which will give guests access to from Disneyland's Paradise Pier Hotel to Disney California Adventure Park.
Also, guests will be able to look forward to a "Hey Disney!" feature which works alongside Alexa on Amazon devices and which is similar to Siri on Apple devices.
Guests will also be able to send certain theme park purchases back to their resort hotel.
Beyond that, later this summer Disneyland will begin allowing early access for guests staying at Disneyland Resort Hotels.
While the evolution of Downtown Disney began back in 2018, recent developments show a continued transformation to the property.
The goal for the latest additions is to add more innovative shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences for guests.
Coming to Downtown Disney includes the world-renowned restaurant Din Tai Fung, Paseo and Centrico by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytan, and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen will finalize the foodie transformation.
