Since there were no winners in Saturday's Powerball drawing, Monday's jackpot has climbed to $421 million.
The nearly half-a-billion-dollar milestone has many attempting to play in hopes of winning the huge jackpot.
Saturday marked the 29th drawing in which there were no winners, Powerball officials say.
The jackpot started at $40 million. If someone wins Monday's drawing, they can either take the $421 million in annual payments, or they can accept one lump sum of $252.1 million, Powerball officials say.
The odds of winning are 1 in 292 million.
