According to the OC Register, more than 803,000 California Stimulus Checks will be sent by December 17th! The state has started distributing checks earlier this week, and the check could range from $600- $1,100. You'll qualify for a California Stimulus Check if you earned less than $75,000 in the year of 2020. If you have not received a payment yet, you should:
- Check your Adjusted Gross Income- You could have a different AGI according to the IRS. To qualify for the Golden State Stimulus you had to have made less than $75,000 in 2020 on your tax return.
- Check your address- If you have moved or changed banks, you may receive a paper check! Check the zip code list below for dates!
- Check to see if you owe the state money- If you have a collection with the state, you may not receive a payment.
