Happy Feel Good Friday!
This weeks Feel Good Friday Story comes from South Los Angeles. KTLA first shared the story of a fourplex in the Harvard Park neighborhood of South L.A. that caught on fire early this morning.
Fortunately all of the occupants were able to flee the fire and no one was seriously injured. I wanted to highlight one of the occupants named Vicente who lives on the building because he did something really courage and special.
After escaping with his family he realized his 6-month-old puppy was still in the burning building and so he ran back inside to rescue his dog.
“I just couldn’t leave the dog in there … to me that’s like a baby,” Vicente said.
I have a little Frenchie named Tyga so I totally respect Vicente for risking his life to make sure his pooch was safe.
