This weekend, sadly the FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine permanently closed after their last concert from the Zac Brown Band on Saturday night.
The 12,000 seat outdoor music venue opened back in 2017 as a temporary venue. There were tentative plans made between LiveNation and the City of Irvine to bring a permanent venue to that location, but the city officials ended up rejecting the entertainment company's proposal due to many concerns. The venue made a post just hours before Zac Brown Band went on stage about the closing but said that they are looking for other sites to bring a permanent venue to Orange County.
